Description
After a cold, chilly, and dormant winter, the first flush darjeeling teas emerge, marking the onset of spring from february till april. This initial harvest brings forth new tender shoots on the tea shrubs, yielding delicate and fragile tea leaves that require minimal oxidation. Simply dried, these leaves are ready for consumption, making it an orthodox tea , offering a mild and delicate brew cherished by tea enthusiasts who prefer subtlety over robustness. Darjeeling tea undergoes a seasonal cycle with four main flushes, with each loose leaf tea possessing its own distinct characteristics. The preference for a particular loose black tea flush varies depending on one's palate. The first flush, known for its light and bright flavor, appeals to some, while others favor the second flush for its full-bodied and dark profile. Additionally, the autumn flush entices those seeking a bold yet deeply fruity taste experience.
